you@yourbusiness.co.uk, set up properly, working on your phone, laptop and tablet from day one.

For: Anyone still sending quotes from a personal address.

It is a small thing that does a lot of work. A quote from yourbusiness@gmail.com and the same quote from you@yourbusiness.co.uk read as two different companies, and the second one looks like it will still be there next year.

It is also more practical than it looks. Addresses per person or per department, everything in one place, and an address that belongs to the business rather than to whoever set it up. When someone leaves, their email does not leave with them.

The setup is the part people put off, because it means DNS records and settings that are easy to get subtly wrong. Get them wrong and your email quietly lands in everyone's spam folder. We do that part, and check it is actually working.

£15 a month per mailbox, set up included.

What you get

Your name on the address

you@yourbusiness.co.uk, or one each for the team, or a shared one like hello@ or accounts@.

Working on every device

Phone, laptop and tablet, set up and tested rather than left for you to work out.

Calendar and webmail

A shared calendar and access from any browser, so you are not tied to one machine.

DNS handled

The records that decide whether your email arrives or goes to spam, set correctly and checked.

It belongs to the business

Not to a personal account somebody set up years ago. Addresses can be reassigned when people join or leave.

Can I keep my old address?

Yes. We can forward the old one into the new one so nothing is missed while you tell people, and you can keep that running as long as you like.

Will I lose my existing emails?

No. Existing mail can be brought across when the account is set up, so your history comes with you.

Why not just use free email?

You can, and plenty of businesses do. The trade is that it looks less established, the address belongs to a person rather than the business, and you cannot hand it over cleanly when someone leaves.
