Somebody within ten miles is searching for what you do right now. This is about being the one they find.

For: Businesses that live on local custom rather than national traffic.

Local search is not the same game as national SEO, and most of what gets sold as SEO is aimed at the wrong one. You are not trying to beat the whole internet. You are trying to be the obvious choice within ten miles, which is a far smaller and far more winnable fight.

That comes down to a handful of unglamorous things done properly: a Google Business Profile that is complete rather than half filled in, reviews arriving steadily, pages that name what you do and where you do it, and a site quick enough that Google is happy to send people to it.

It is included in every site we build rather than sold on top. For most local businesses a complete Business Profile and a fast, well-structured site is the bulk of the win, and we would rather build that in than put it on a separate invoice.

Included in every website we build. There is no separate SEO invoice.

What you get

Google Business Profile, done properly

Categories, service areas, services, photographs and posts. For a local business this often moves more than the website does.

Pages that name the work and the place

Titles, descriptions and copy that match what people actually type, which is rarely the phrase a business uses about itself.

The technical side

Structured data, sitemaps, canonical URLs and clean headings, so Google can read the site without guessing.

Speed, because it counts twice

A slow site ranks worse and converts worse. Fixing it is the rare thing that helps both.

No separate SEO invoice

This is part of building the site, not a monthly line added on top. Most local businesses do not need a retainer, and we would rather say so than sell you one.

How long before it works?

The Business Profile can move within weeks. Ranking a website for competitive terms takes months, and anyone promising page one by a date is guessing.

Do I need a monthly retainer?

No. The SEO work is part of building the site rather than a monthly line on top of it. For most local businesses the bulk of the value is in getting the foundations right once, and we would rather say that than sell you twelve months of it.

Can you guarantee page one?

No, and nobody can. Google does not sell that and does not take instruction. What we can do is make sure nothing on your side is holding you back.
