Most of the websites we are asked to replace have the same problem. They were built years ago by someone who has since gone quiet, they look their age on a phone, and nobody who works at the business can change a price or a photo without asking a stranger for a favour. The business has moved on and the website has not.
We build the replacement. That means a site designed for the way people actually arrive at it, on a phone, in a hurry, wanting one specific thing: your prices, your opening times, or a way to get hold of you. It loads quickly, it reads clearly, and the technical groundwork search engines look for is done as part of the build rather than sold back to you afterwards.
There are two of us and that is the whole studio. Lewis designs and builds, Luke handles strategy and looks after clients. There are no account managers and no handovers, so the person who answers your email is the person who made the thing you are emailing about. If you would rather do the first conversation face to face, we are in Bedford and that is easy to arrange.
The part that makes this a smaller decision than it looks is the free preview. Before any money changes hands, we design your homepage and send it to you. Not a template with your logo dropped in: the real thing, with your words and your photographs. If you look at it and it is not right, you have lost an hour of talking to us and nothing else.

Are you actually based in Bedford?
Luke and Lewis both work in Bedford. We are a two-person studio rather than an office you can walk into, so we come to you or meet somewhere sensible.
Do you only work with Bedford businesses?
No. Most of our work is across Bedfordshire and the counties around it, and plenty of it is done without ever being in the same room. Being nearby is an option, not a requirement.
What does a website cost?
From £1,200 for a straightforward site, from £2,400 for a larger one with a login for the content that changes often, and from £4,500 for something more involved. Every one is quoted after a call and fixed from then on.
How long does it take?
One to two weeks for most builds, from the point the content is with us. The free preview comes before that and does not start the clock.
Who do I actually deal with?
The two of us. No account managers, no handovers, and the people who build your site are the people you deal with.
What happens after it launches?
The £35/month care plan covers hosting, updates, backups and small changes. Anything bigger, like a new page or a new feature, gets a fixed price before we start it.
